CrossNet is hiring for a Food and Nutrition Manager Position

CrossNet Ministries offers help and hope in the name of Jesus to the ELANCO community!  We are currently seeking a Food & Nutrition Manager committed to our mission statement.  The Food & Nutrition Manager is responsible for overseeing the CrossNet Ministries Food Programs including, the Food Pantry, Free Summer Lunch Program, CrossNet Meal Packs, Buddy Bags, Holiday Meal Program, as well as nutrition classes/workshops participants. This position tracks and enters data and stats, sends weekly email/texts, schedule food pantry appointments, oversees volunteers, and receives, moves, organizes and weighs food donations and fulfills and shops for food as needed.  

Typical work schedule:  Monday – Friday  9:00 am– 5:00 pm (flexibility required)

Qualifications include- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., have a valid PA driver’s license, the ability to multitask, show care and compassion, and be committed to the CrossNet mission and vision.  Experience preferred.

CrossNet Ministries is seeking a full-time Executive Director to provide hands-on leadership, vision, and direction for the continued growth and impact of the organization and those we serve. The successful candidate will align with our guiding principles and statement of faith, demonstrate and ensure adherence to our Aligning Values, and advance our mission. The Executive Director will be responsible for driving operating efficiencies and ensuring financial sustainability. The ability to cultivate and strengthen relationships with our participants, current and future volunteers, donors, key stakeholders and community partners, is essential to the role. The Executive Director will represent the organization well and possess a successful track record of developing staff and ensuring a highly cohesive team. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will foster a healthy, collaborative relationship with the Board, ensuring that governance and leadership are carried out with integrity and shared vision.

Executive Director Position Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience to a department or organization with the ability to develop people and teams
  • A practical understanding of day-to-day organizational operations, including financial stewardship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required; effective public speaking abilities, a plus
  • Experience in a nonprofit organization and/or working with a Board of Directors, preferred
  • Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferred
