CrossNet Ministries Important Upcoming Transition Announcement: From the Board of Directors & Meredith Dahl

Please read below for an important update from Board Chair, Brian Martin.
Dear CrossNet Ministries Supporter,
On behalf of the CrossNet Board of Directors, we wish to share with you an important and heartfelt announcement. After seventeen years of leadership, our Executive Director, Meredith Dahl, has expressed to the CrossNet Board of Directors her decision to transition from her current role. This decision comes after deep reflection and prayer, as she feels it is the right time to pass the torch to the new leadership. Meredith will complete her role as Executive Director, effective January 2025.
We celebrate the growth and reach CrossNet has experienced through Meredith’s leadership and vision as seen in the broader ELANCO community. Likely many of you can personally testify to Meredith’s impact and contribution to our community.
It was my privilege to journey openly with Meredith as she discerned this decision. In hearing her heart, it became clear the Lord has been speaking and is calling her into a new chapter of ministry. Meredith will continue to serve the Lord locally as Director of Leadership Development at LCBC Church.
We acknowledge this announcement may be a shock given the capital project and campaign in progress. However, Meredith and the Board are committed to seeing this campaign fully funded and completed as planned. Meredith is also fully committed to establishing a smooth and healthy transition. Over the next few months, she will work closely with the Board to carefully hand over her responsibilities, ensuring that CrossNet Ministries remains strong and poised for continued success. We pray for a win-win-win: A win for CrossNet participants, a win for our volunteers, staff and greater ELANCO community, and a win for Meredith.
The board invited Meredith to serve as honorary chair of the capital campaign until its anticipated completion in May 2025. Meredith graciously accepted this invitation. In addition, Meredith will consult with the project management team through the completion of the construction project.
CrossNet Director of Development, Carl Edwards, will provide interim leadership until the position is filled.
Looking ahead, please reserve March 25, 2025, for the Annual CrossNet Ministries Banquet hosted at Shady Maple. That evening, we will be celebrating Meredith Dahl and her long-standing tenure with CrossNet. We also hope to formally introduce the new Executive Director.
As we embark on this new chapter, we ask for your continued support and prayers. We are confident that, with your partnership, CrossNet will continue to thrive and make a positive impact for Christ in our community.

Please read below for an important message from Executive Director, Meredith Dahl.
Dear Supporters,
It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of what God has been doing in the ELANCO community for the past seventeen years.
I deeply love CrossNet Ministries and the mission in the ELANCO community. God has given me the incredible opportunity to see it through different challenges, growth, and beautiful opportunities to expand His Kingdom. One of the greatest blessings has been getting to know so many of you and partnering with you to offer help and hope in the name of Jesus.
While this decision has been extremely difficult, it has drawn me to trust God even more. I know He has asked me to lay down my role at CrossNet, to open the door for the next person to step in. It will be my greatest honor and joy to see the new Executive Director stand on my shoulders and continue the mission for years to come! I fully trust God in what He is doing and the future of CrossNet!
CrossNet is a strong and healthy organization. I am grateful to have served with the Board of Directors and the incredible Staff for many years. I am excited to continue to cheer on CrossNet, serve where I can, and continue to be a part of the organization as a volunteer in the future. I am grateful that the Board of Directors seeks that this be a transition that honors God, celebrates what He has done and focuses on what is yet to come, because there is more work of offering hope to do!
I am committed to serving as the Executive Director through the end of year and in a part- time capacity in the new year through the completion of the warehouse renovation. And I am honored to celebrate with all of you at the Annual Banquet in March.
Looking forward to what is yet to come and what God is going to do!
Sincerely,
Meredith Dahl
Executive Director
